The Saltaire Day Camp is a family tradition, and nearly every kid attends. They make new friends and have a ton of fun. The camp is run by the Village of Saltaire for kids who live here all summer and those who are here for a short time. The camp is open 4th of July through Labor day, from 9AM - 12 Noon Monday-Friday. The finale is the Labor Day Talent Show, not to be missed!

The Saltaire Volunteer Fire Company was incorporated in 1969 as a not-for-profit corporation to provide fire suppression services under contract to the Incorporated Village of Saltaire, and when called upon, to assist neighboring communities. In 1986 the SVFC was the first fire department to provide an ambulance and Emergency Medical Services on Fire Island.
The Saltaire Yacht Club is a membership organization open to homeowners and renters who reside in Saltaire. Activities include Restaurant dining, Sailing, and Tennis. The Club cooperates with the Village in many activities including weekly movie night, yoga, camp back up on rainy days and hosting the annual Labor Day show. Most activities of the Yacht Club are private and open to members only.
